A combination of Boxing and Muay Thai taught by Sergio Cunha.
A grappling art which has a heavy emphasis on ground control, body positioning, pressure and joint locks. Instructors guide students through various techniques which have been proven to dominate in all forms of competitions. This program is directed by head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach and first degree black belt Mark Stables.
One of the oldest sports in the world, this grappling art put heavy emphasis on takedowns and pinning opponents. We specialize in both freestyle and Greco-Roman techniques with an emphasis on impact control and ground control. We at MECHA MMA are proud to have three time national champion Nick Johnson running our program.
One of only two martial arts recognized in the Olympic games. Derived from the stand up portion of classic Jiu Jitsu, this sport teaches an individual how to use leverage, footwork and timing to throw an opponent. It also teaches how to subdue opponents on the ground and how to attack joints. Tami Dacks is the program director and coach for Judo here at MECHA MMA.
